U10, U12 & U14 training
19th July 2006: Training for the U10, U12 and U14 players has now finished until after the Summer holidays. Training sessions will resume on Wednesday 6th September at 6:30pm in Gladstone Park, continuing on Satuday 9th September at 2pm. The U12 Championship final will be played in the first couple of weeks after we get back so it is particularly important for our U12 players to return to training immediately.

London Minor Team
10th July 2006: Congratulations to the Kilburn Gaels players who represented London against Warwickshire yesterday. London made it four provincial titles in a row in a strongly contested match in Pairc na h'Eireann as part of the GAA for Africa celebrations, with Kilburn Gaels making up fourteen of the 16-man panel who took victory by 0-14 to 2-3. Very well done to: John Guerin, JP O'Brien, Ryan Scullion, Thomas O'Neill, Chris Henry, James Minihan, Sean O'Toole (0-1), Patrick Troy (0-1), Sean Howlin (c) (0-6(0-3f)), Jimmy Delaney (0-3), Conor Lyons (0-2), Declan Mullan, Terry Connolly (0-1), Shane Murphy.

U10 Hurling
7th July 2006: The first U10 hurling match in London for 7 years was played this evening in Northwick Park between Kilburn Gaels and Granauille. The last time an U10 match weas played in London our current minors - the likes of Thomas O'Neill and Sean Howlin - were on the panel! The Kilburn team were slow to get started - for many of them this was their first ever match - conceding nine goals in the first half and scoring just one from Sean Gartlan on the stroke of half time. After a few helpful pointers from the mentors on the sideline and with the team into their stride Kilburn made a far more competitive match in the second half scoring five goals to Granuaille's three to make a very respectful showing on their first day out. The team was: Daniel Windsor, Michaela Kilkenny-Kelly, Megan Hickey, Ciaran Black, Jonathon Kenny, Frazer Lennon, Ciaran Hickey (1-0) and Sean Gartlan (5-0).

Junior team update
3rd July 2006: The Junior team earned themselves a valuable darw against Granuaille yesterday in the fourth round of the championship to go top of the Junior table. This result, provided that others go our way, should be enough to secure the team a place in the championship semi-finals in September. The team's remaining fixture is against Bros Pearse the strongest team in the competition, but with the results the team has already achieved this year and a full-strength team out, anything could happen in that match.
