UNDERAGE CAMOGIE IN LONDON

15th February 2007: Brothers Pearse Camogie Club based in Greenford are setting up an underage team this year to provide camogie for girls aged 12-16. We already have a number of girls playing underage hurling with Kilburn Gaels but up until now there has been little available to them past U14 grade. We hope that many more girls will take up the sport over the coming months in light of this new opportunity and look forward to our U10 and U12 girls progressing through to the Pearses U14 and U16 teams in the years to come. IMPORTANT UPCOMING EVENTS

1st February 2007: At the committee meeting last night arrangements were made for a number of important upcoming club events. All are welcome to attend and get involved with everything that will be going on over the next couple of months and we would encourage as many of you as possible to take up this invitation.

Sunday 18th February	11:00am	Training resumes for the 15-18 age group in Gladstone Park
Sunday 25th February	1:00pm	Annual General Meeting in The Corrib Rest: Please can all parents, Minor, Junior and Senior players make every effort to attend this important meeting - after all it is only held once a year. New players and members interested in joining the club would also be most welcome at this meeting (We realise that this is the same day as the Carling Cup Final so it is of extra importance that we start on time!)
Saturday 3rd March	2:30pm	Visit of Killavullen Hurling Team from Cork to play Kilburn Gaels' Seniors for the Mick Murphy Cup
	7:30pm	Buffet and Dance in The Corrib Rest: Presentations will be made for the Mick Murphy Cup and Minor Provincial Championship, plus the awards for Senior and Junior Player of the Year and Club Person of the Year. Entrance is £10 on the door
Sunday 18th March	11:15am	St Patrick's Day Parade in London: Kilburn Gaels will once again be walking in the parade behind the club banner. Players of all ages along with officers, parents and club members are welcome to join us. Please meet at Hyde Park Corner no later than 11:15am - Senior/Junior players to wear club t-shirts or tracksuits, underage players should bring their hurley and will be provided with a jersey to wear. Wednesday 18th April	6:30pm	Training resumes for all players under 14 in Gladstone Park (continuing on Saturday 21st April at 2:00pm)
Saturday 21st April	8:30pm	Underage presentation in Quex Road: Presentations will be made to all players plus the awards for U12, U14, U16 and U18 Player of the Year; U12, U14 and U16 Merit Awards and Club Person of the Year. There will be a buffet, disco and raffle. All are welcome to attend.
