Had a challenge game against the London Camogie team today it proved a good run out for both parties. But as many of us learned KG U16's and Minors need a bit of training for the Wexford tour. With this approaching fast I think over the next few weeks we need everyone to put in
a BIG effort to make training...including me! So come on lads try your best! Sean Howlin |

Happy New Year to all the underage hurlers, Senior players and mentors! 2005 was a very successful year for London in hurling, for a change (!), which saw us unluckily lose out in Belfast in the U-16 tournament. It saw London win the Rackard Cup and our U-16 and Minors sweep the board! Hppefully this year will be just as successful, I can't wait to start playing again! Hope to see all my mates again soon! Can't wait for our Easter tour. Sean Howlin U-16 capt. 2005 |

Well done to the Minors this weekend who defeated EGB by 5-14 to 1-3 scorers: Sean Howlin 1-4 (2 free and 1 ’65), Kevin Grace 0-6 (1 free) , Declan Mullins and Jimmy Delaney 1-2, Patrick Troy and Michael Maher 1-0 each. Good performances from the forwards with some great link up play and scores at times and solid defending from the central positions, with plenty of back tracking by the midfielders. Hopefully all these can make that leap forward and play for their respective senior clubs and one day represent their county as we have some fine hurlers! |

Well done lads great display as we retained the U16 provincial title for the fourth consecutive year! Some solid performances and I can see a lot of players coming on great in their hurling - John Guerin, Terry Connolly, Danny O'Hara, Daniel Maloney and James Minihan had very good games along with the usual performers Thomas O'Neill, Sean O'Toole and Jimmy Delaney. From all the players, we'd like to thank John and Frances O'Neill, Brian Forde and Brendan O'Connor for all their hard work during the year...Thanks alot!!! p.s sorry lads and supporters for my performance - was bad, but hopefully that wont happen again! |

The U12s got a walkover in their semi so we organised a challenge against EGB. They lost by a few points, but their performance was much improved and we'll be no push over for the Treacys in the final. Oh, and the final's on Saturday John! Don't know what match you're planning on going to! :-) |

Hard luck again lads, so close and yet so far but every year you are edging closer and there is always next year! We were lucky but we all need it sometimes. Anyway good luck to the U-16s and we'll be doing our best to retain the U-16 championship so it would be nice to see some of the seniors out to cheer us on, thanks lads! P.S can all players try make it there A.S.A.P so we get our pre-match preperation done properly thanks, Sean Howlin (team capt.) |
