12th March 2008

  • The Dinner Dance has been arranged for Saturday 3rd May in the Corrib Rest. Tickets would be available at the underage presentation. Seamus O'Connor was arranging a band
  • The Golf Day has been booked for Friday 4th July at Ealing Golf Club. The price is £50 per player including tea/coffee, a round of golf and evening meal. It was hoped that some of the underage parents would attend
  • We had registered 86 members with the County Board for the year
  • Sean Riordan, Tom Bergin and John O'Neill had done the First Aid course the night before
  • Frances was to approach players regarding the Young Whistler's refereeing course - it was hoped to send at least 4/5 on the course
  • Next meeting: Wednesday 23rd April at 8:30pm in The Corrib Rest

20th February 2008

  • Both the Claddagh Ring and the Corrib Rest were suggested for the Dinner Dance. It was agreed to approach both to see what dates were available before making a decision
  • Club membership was due from all players. It was agreed to chase players up once training began
  • John and Frances proposed that they approach parents to form part of a working committee to help out run the underage teams, wash kits, organize the sevens competition etc. A flyer asking for help would be produced for the underage presentation evening
  • Next meeting: Wednesday 12th March at 8:30pm in Tony's Bar
